Course Memo

This course is a study of microprocessors, interfacing and applications. Interfacing basics include concepts of address decoding, three-state buffering, latching and timing. Topics include peripheral interface adapters, serial/parallel communications, memory and programmable timers. Application is made for optical sensing, displays, force sensors and control devices for relays and serves. Prerequisites and Corequisites: EET230, EET326, EET315
