Course Memo
The purpose of this foundation lecture/studio is to provide engineering and technology students with fundamental design, drawing and aesthetic skills. We will explore theories, concepts and ideas related to design, the design process, creativity drawing visualization, experimentation, audience and users, visual design principles, aesthetics, concept development, organizational and structural methods and systems, perception 110 and communication. Exercises to develop basic design skills will be done throughout the semester.
