Course Memo
The Certified Flight Instructor Flight -CFIA will focus on those flight and classroom operations required of a CFIA. The student will have gained the practical understanding of the responsibility, skills and proficiency required to successfully flight instruct in airplanes. The student will be able to provide ground instruction appropriate to the flight training being given. The need for continuing education for the CFI will be emphasized. All students’ teaching and flight activity will be evaluated using the FAA Airman Certification Standards (ACS). Earning the Certified Flight Instructor - CFIA is a requirement of this course. Prerequisites: FLT470, FLT471, Class II FAA Medical, FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
