Course Memo
This course deals with the concept of stress and strain in members under the action of axial and shearing forces, bending and twisting moments. The course content includes analysis of stress and strain, Hooke’s law (stress-strain diagram), thermal stresses, torsion and beam analysis. Computer application is required for the homework assignments. Prerequisites: EGR115, MAT120Assigned Books
